How it works
Export, import, verify. Coffee doesn't even go cold.
Pull your scheduled content, history and brand assets out of your current tool. We document the exact export path for every platform in the tables below.
Drop the export into Aloha's Settings → Import. We map channels, preserve scheduled dates, and flag anything that needs human eyes.
Side-by-side view: your old schedule vs. the new Aloha queue. Reconnect each social account, confirm, you're live.
What the import looks like
The importer shows every post it's about to create, next to the source row from your export. You approve in bulk, or tweak individually. Nothing lands without your thumb.
Import preview — Buffer rows on the left, Aloha draft previews on the right.

Per-tool instructions
From Buffer
3 steps · worth-knowing note · verified Apr 10, 2026
Export your scheduled posts from Buffer via Settings → Export.
In Aloha, go to Settings → Import → Buffer and drop the CSV.
Reconnect your channels; Aloha maps each post to the right network.
Worth knowing
Buffer's Ideas inbox doesn't have a direct equivalent — those export as draft posts into the Composer library.
From Hootsuite
3 steps · worth-knowing note · verified Apr 10, 2026
Export scheduled content from Hootsuite's Publisher via the 'Export to CSV' option.
Export your organisation's brand kit separately from Settings → Assets.
Import both into Aloha via Settings → Import → Hootsuite.
Worth knowing
Hootsuite's streams don't map 1:1 to Aloha — they become saved filters in the Inbox instead. Listening queries need to be recreated.
From Later
3 steps · worth-knowing note · verified Apr 10, 2026
In Later, go to Settings → Account → Export content library.
Upload the resulting zip in Aloha's Settings → Import → Later.
Reconnect your accounts and verify the grid preview matches.
Worth knowing
Later's colour-palette grid layout imports as a draft album in the Composer — you can re-enable per-grid visual preview in Settings → Channels → Instagram.
From Sprout Social
3 steps · worth-knowing note · verified Apr 10, 2026
Export publishing content from Sprout's Asset Library → Export.
Export team + approval settings separately.
Import via Aloha's Settings → Import → Sprout Social.
Worth knowing
Smart Inbox routing rules migrate as Inbox saved filters, not 1:1 cases. Open cases in Sprout stay in Sprout — close them out first.
From Kit
3 steps · worth-knowing note · verified Apr 10, 2026
In Kit, export your subscriber list via Subscribers → Export.
Keep Kit as your email system — Aloha isn't a replacement.
Connect Kit ↔ Aloha via the Kit integration so new Aloha subscribers sync automatically.
Worth knowing
This isn't a migration so much as a pairing. Keep Kit for email broadcasts, put Aloha in charge of social and link-in-bio capture.
From Typefully
3 steps · verified Apr 10, 2026
In Typefully, export your drafts via Workspace → Export → JSON.
Import to Aloha via Settings → Import → Typefully.
Reconnect your X account; Aloha preserves the thread structure.
Things we promise
A real person walks your first import with you. If anything breaks, we fix it and ship the fix to everyone. Free if you pay for anything.
Every field is exportable — CSV, JSON, or our full backup zip. Leave whenever; take everything. We hate lock-in.
If you migrate and it's not working, we refund the plan and help you back to your old tool. First three months, no questions.
Your last 24 months of analytics come with you. We pre-import published posts so the trendline doesn't start at zero.
Set up an import in ten minutes. Our team picks it up from there — usually within the hour.
