A second pair of eyes,
six rules deep.

Paste a draft. The critic runs six rules-based checks — length, hook, invitation to reply, emoji density, shadowban tokens, exclamation discipline — and grades the mechanics. It doesn't grade your taste.

Six rules-based checks. We don't grade your taste — we grade the things that are easy to mess up.

Mechanical score

83/100

Pure rules check. Doesn't measure whether the idea is good — only whether the post mechanically lands.

Length

Worth checking

168 chars — under the 600-char sweet spot for LinkedIn. Probably too short.

Hook

Pass

First line carries enough texture to read more.

Invitation to reply

Worth checking

No question or CTA. Engagement will rely entirely on the message itself.

Emoji density

Pass

No emoji. Reads like a human, not a brand.

Shadowban tokens

Pass

Clean of obvious soft-suppression triggers.

Exclamation marks

Pass

0 — restrained.

How this works

Opinions,
not magic.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing goes to a server; nothing is logged. We keep it simple so you can see exactly what it's doing.

  1. Length is checked against per-channel sweet spots (X 80-200 chars, LinkedIn 600-1500, etc.) and the platform's hard ceiling.
  2. Hook is rated on first-line texture; recognised opening formulas ("here's why…", "3 ways…") get downgraded.
  3. Invitation to reply detects questions and explicit CTAs (reply / comment / book / sign up).
  4. Emoji density: ratio of emoji to words. >15% triggers a soft warning.
  5. Shadowban tokens: scans for known soft-suppression phrases (f4f, like-for-like, etc.).
  6. Exclamation count >=4 reads as 'screaming' and gets flagged.
